So it was a very rough second week of school let me tell you.
First I had a really hard time getting to my first round of classes due to the ridiculousness that is the downtown Springfield roadways. I had a class in the really-far-away-from-campus art building for my painting class. Turns out I bought black acrylic paint instead of black oil paint (DOH) so I had to beg paint off people. That shit ain't cheep so I got some pretty angry scowls on my first day....I was late cleaning up too which would not have been a problem had I not had a class ten minutes later in the slightly-less-far-away-from-campus design building. It started at 3:00, I left the art building at 3:00, but I thought no big first day of school i have my car I'll get there 5 mins tops and all will be forgiven. Turns out every streep in the downtown area that wasn't a one way only street was under construction! All of them! I spent 30 mins screaming obscenities in my car trying to drive to the design building that was a block away! 30 minutes!! Not really the best way to win over a teacher. funny thing is I wasn't even the last person to get there. There were two other people who were in my painting class that came in after me because they took the bus! That was just Monday too. Fast forward to tuesday and I find myself having an even more shitty day!
I woke up by falling out of bed (I have some lovely bruises) my alarm went off and I reached for it and somehow ended up on the floor. Falling out of bed at 7:00 in the morning can be a bit confusing. I was so disoriented that when I tried to stand up I fell over again. I remember thinking to myself 'this is going to be a shitty day' I was too right. I got ready and left for class on my bike. Unfortunately I didn't feel my phone fall out of my pocket. So after my first class I went to check it and it wasn't there. I raced out and started retracing my steps. I got on my bike but wasn't paying attention so I hit another bike and fell over. When that happened my key ring fell apart. I scooped it all up and raced home to hunt for my phone in the 30 mins between classes. I didn't find it but I had to go to class. It was my English class. Our homework had been issued online but I couldn't get the stupid site it was on to work since my computer is still acting up after having died of a virus. So I had to go beg my teacher for an extension. He let me, thank gods!
On a side note: they say that construction on the English building is complete on the website, they already had the re-dedication and everything, but the guys walking around in hardhats applying drywall tell a different story. Actually the projector in our classroom didn't work, done of the printers work so we still have no silibi (it's online but I can't get it.) While our teacher was lecturing a construction worker put a latter in front of our glass door and was driving screws into the wall above the door with a power tool....great school I go to...
Anyway back to my story of despair. When that class is finally over I go to unlock my bike and discover that the bike lock key is now missing...so now I am phone-less and i can't ride my bike. I was envisioning going to the campus police and having them cut my lock, but I had not had my bike registered yet so I doubt they would have done it. I was planning on doing it that day actually...irony. So now i had to walk to my next class, across campus. After that class I walked home in to attempt to find my phone again. While tearing apart my house, I found the bike lock key. Then I got a call on the house phone saying that the guy from across the street had found my phone and was going to bring it by. The Dawn at last!! so he did. He brought his puppy too, her name is Nala, sooo cute! After having recovered my phone I set off to go get my bike. In one of those classic movie moments I said, out loud, "could today get any worse?" Never say that! It began raining, seriously, instant spontaneous downpour! So I had to walk in the rain and ride my bike back in it. when my sister called to see if I would help with her math homework I basically told her to got to hell....sorry Emily...
Then Wednesday I dropped a Jar of jelly I was intending to use for my PBJ sandwich and cut myself on the finger, my drawing hand....the one I had to use to do a charcoal picture later that day....so now I'm nursing my wound and cursing my luck. I didn't even get my sandwich...

It is all because I accidentally pissed off the invisible faeries that give me dimes. They say you should never say thank you to a fae, well I did and then all that happened...then I found a dime and three pennies...13 cents...I think they were trying to tell me something.....Let's hope the Japanese Festival this Saturday can save this miserable week...sorry this turned out pretty long
